Holy Week

I'm so bad at blogging these days! :D

So, this holy week, I'm just here staying home. :) It's because I didn't have money for vacation last week that's why I decided to stay home. And now I understand why God didn't just give me right away the money I was expecting last month, He wants me to rest! And that's the God that I serve! Sweet and caring! :)

And so, I've been having a pretty amazing days off at home, I must say. Yesterday, Maundy Thursday, since malls were not open, what I did was to watch movies! :) Well, it all started when after I had my lunch I decided to look for something to watch that I saw a movie from Light TV (Christian cable channel) which looked very interesting.

It's "Belle and the Beast : A Christian Romance", it's like a modern Beauty and the Beast with a Christian spin, which makes it really really beautiful. And of course, I won't summarize it here but I'll tell you the parts that hit me the most. What I like here the most is the relationship of the two of them as boss and assistant. We all know in real life that, there are really just rude bosses in this world. And sometimes we have to admit that they're really just hard to deal with most especially if they're men! And Belle's boss here was actually a beast! He hurts people, he's selfish and rude. And Belle on the other hand, a Christian with faith, patient and gentle. If someone is being rude to you, how do you respond to him? Avoid him? Walk away? Revenge? Well, Belle is different, she didn't give up and she didn't let her emotions eat her up and she didn't disrespect her boss. Which reminded me of the following verses:

If a ruler's anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can lay great errors to rest.
Ecclesiastes 10:4

Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.
Proverbs 25:15

And at the end, his boss got transformed by the grace of God! :) Another striking thing here is that, I've realized  that when people are being rude to you or to everyone around them, UNDERSTAND that there are roots behind it. They're not being like that for no reason. You know the saying, HURT PEOPLE HURT OTHERS. We, as Christians should understand this and pray for them that God would heal them from that bondage and that they would open their hearts in the truth to be enlightened.

Now, the next one I got to watch was FIREPROOF! Yey, finally! I really wanted to watch this movie since last year but for some reason I wasn't able to do so. Thanks to that person who uploaded the film in 14 parts on You Tube! :) This movie was so touching that it actually made me cry! It made me remember the people I know in real life that keeps running away from Jesus. You see, whenever we have a problem, we like to fix it, right? But we don't know how to and then someone will come along offering a solution to that problem. And we'd love to hear it but when that person says it's JESUS, for some reason our interests just lessened to the point that we just want that person to just stop. Why do we always reject Jesus but welcome other solutions from the pattern of this world?

I kid you not, WHAT PROBLEM YOU FACE at the moment, small or big, JESUS IS THE ONLY ANSWER.

JESUS PERIOD

You never know God is all you need until God is all you have. :)
Yes, we always reject the idea of having Jesus at the center of our lives BUT if we repent and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, HE WILL ACCEPT US no matter how messed up we are! No matter how long we've been rejecting Him! No matter how hard we mocked Him! Because He created ua and He loves us!

He cares for you even if you don't care about Him at all!

We don't know how to LOVE and we don't know what love really is because we keep running away from that TRUE LOVE..

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:8

God is LOVE! And He loves you and me because..

He is patient.
He is kind.
He does not envy,
He does not boast,
He is not proud.
He does not dishonor others,
He is not self-seeking,
He is not easily angered,
He keeps no record of wrongs.
He does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
He always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Thank YOU for Your unconditional LOVE, O God! Thank You for sending Your only Son to die on the cross for us. THAT IS LOVE. <3
